OK - this is not really me and Jim.....but just give us a few more years. haha

This really is Jim at Sliding Rock - he made many trips into the icy cold water at Sliding Rock.





Jim and I had a great vacation in Aug 2008....Sightseeing in the Smoky Mountains, beautiful mtns and waterfalls, shopping in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, a couple of days on the beach, attending the Bristol Nascar Races, and more sightseeing, shopping and eating. We even went to the Dixie Stampede! We also tried indoor skydiving, go-cart racing, and slid down a huge flat rock into freezing water at Sliding Rock. What a wonderful trip and special time together. Thank you Jim!

    YES, I want to go there, but where is it?
    The beach is beautiful.
    And I love the waterfall, where is the slideing rock and waterfall??

    The Waterfall and Sliding Rock are North of Brevard, N.C. on Hwy 276. But we drove South out of Gatlinburg TN, over the Great Smokey Mtns. It was beautiful!
